A B2B and B2C e-commerce layer added to an existing WordPress site, for a brand of eco-friendly products for babies and the home.
Starting point
A WordPress site built with Divi, already online. The brief: add a shop for consumers and a separate buying path for professionals, and keep the existing site.
What I built
- A WooCommerce shop with products in French and English, with size and format attributes.
- A professional area with B2BKing: accounts approved by the client, quote requests, a minimum order and a quantity cap.
- A consumer checkout, kept separate from the professional path.
- A French and English site with Polylang.
Security
- HTTP security headers and a content security policy.
- User enumeration through the REST interface disabled.
- A cookie notice.
Handover
The shop and the professional area are built and configured. The client received administration guides to manage products and promotion codes.
